Cats are Liquid – Light in the Shadows is a 2D platformer about a cat with the ability to transform into liquid.

The game features 90 levels spread across 9 different worlds. It boasts a minimalist yet vibrant style. Along the way, the game introduces new mechanics, such as flying and summoning bombs to destroy walls.

The story revolves around a cat whose owner locked her in a series of rooms. She desperately wants to escape, but the rooms seem to never end. Along the way, the cat encounters a new “friend” and gains new abilities. The story is narrated through small in-game text snippets.
